This is an additive to strengthen plant stems Dutchmaster Silica Dutch Master Silica is a special formulation silicon designed to help your plant build stronger cell walls resulting in a more vigorous and stronger plant. When using a power based nutrient such as Dutchmaster Gold, Silica is essential to help strengthen flowers that are much larger than those grown with regular nutrients. Dutchmaster Silica usage: Use Silica from early in the vegetative stage and continue through until harvest for optimal results. 1. Add Dutchmaster Silica to your reservoir according to the online nutrient calculator or at the rate of 10ml per 20 litres of water after you have added your primary nutrient stirring well to mix. 2. Add any other additives next except Zone (add Zone last) so as to avoid any localized pH reactions and top tank up to final level. 3. Check and adjust final nutrient strength using a nutrient truncheon or EC meter. 4. Check and adjust pH. This is important as Dutchmaster Silica normally causes the pH to rise.
