This is an ideal NFT set up for growing upto 8 mature plants. The Nutriculture GT205i is a recirculating system with plants grow in rockwool cubes. This light will light a growing area of 1m2. The Grolux bulb has both blue and red spectrums of light for vegetative and flowering growth. Some growers prefer using Metal Halides (blue) for vegetative & Son T Pluses (red) for flowering periods. Therefore, there an option if you prefer to use different bulbs at different stages of growth. Bulbs supplied are Venture 400w Metal Halide & Osram 400w Son T Plus. Likewise, if you want to automate your lighting (not have to swtich it on and off yourself) you can use a timer with a contactor relay to do this for you. The contactor relay stops timers failing when the light is switch on and off. You don't need a contactor relay to automate the NFT system. An option is available to change the light to Century Grow Light system which offers IEC connectors if you want to swap or upgrade reflectors. Smaller propagation cubes are used at cutting/seedlings stages then placed into the larger cubes, then these larger cubes are placed into the NFT system. Nutrients Choose between Canna Aqua Vega & Flores or Vitalink Grow & Bloom. These are 2 part nutrients that are mixed together and used in the system. Four (2 x 1 litre vegetative, 2 x 1 litre flowering) bottles supplied in total. Vitalink has a hard or soft water option. Canna is universally used. - Canna Vega or Vitalink Grow are used in vegetative stages - Canna Flores or Vitalink Bloom are used in flowering stages 4in Fan/Filter Combo (Optional) An extractor fan reduces the heat given off by a grow light by sucking the warm air out and ducting it away. These fans are powerful enough to be placed anywhere near the growing area. They also promote good fresh air circulation. Ducting is provided to duct old air away from the area.
